Really Simple Syndication

Now you can get RSS Feeds (Really Simple Syndication) from Astro-Auction. No registration is required, it's free and it's easy.

Using RSS Feeds and a news aggregator, you can get notices of new auction items delivered right to your desktop. When you set up your news aggregator, you will be able to select a category to watch, or you can get notices of all new listings. That's all it takes to stay up-to-date with Astro-Auction.

What do the RSS feeds tell me?

Included with each item listing is:
1. The item title linked to the item page at Astro-Auction.
2. The seller's name linked to the seller's rating.
3. The item category.
4. The auction start time.
5. The opening bid amount.
6. A thumbnail image of the item linked to the full size image at Astro-Auction.
7. The first 50 to 60 words (350 characters) of the item's description.
8. A link to the item page so you can bid.

How do I sign up?

Below you will find a list of auction categories and sub-categories along with the URL for the RSS Feed.
1. Copy it. Copy the green URL. Be sure to get the whole URL, it may be two or more lines in your browser.
2. Paste it into your news aggregator setup.
3. Name it. Give it a descriptive name.
4. Schedule it to check Astro-Auction as frequently as you like--most
users will find a 1 hour interval is good.
5. You're all set!
